The holiday, a second time

The photos go into the cloud and are never looked at again. This is the version that comes out on the table for weeks afterwards.

What to pull from the camera roll

1

Choose the moments, not the landmarks

The pool, the ferry, the ice cream, the airport floor. Children colour their own experience of a trip, not its highlights reel.

2

Keep the order of the trip

Arranging pages in the order things happened lets the book retell the holiday. It is the difference between an album and a story.

3

Make it before the next school term

Holiday photos lose their pull surprisingly fast. A book made in the fortnight after you get back gets used far more than one made in six months.

A photo on the left page and the same moment as a colouring page on the right.

Every spread pairs the original photo with its colouring page, so the memory and the drawing sit side by side.

How it works

  1. Pick your photos. Six to eighteen, straight from your phone.
  2. Choose a cover and title. The cover stays in full colour.
  3. Pick the detail level. Simple and bold for little hands, or intricate for older colourists.
  4. We print and post it. Or email you a print-ready PDF, if you would rather print it yourself.

Digital from $9. Printed, saddle stitched and posted across Australia from $39. See full pricing

Questions

Can I mix photos from several trips?

Yes. A book spanning a few holidays works well, especially for older children who remember them all.

Do photos taken on a phone work?

Yes. Most books are made entirely from phone photos. Good light matters more than the camera.

Do you hold on to holiday photos?

No. They are used to build the book and deleted at ship, and they are never shared.

Make the trip last a bit longer

Six photos to start. You will see a preview before you order.
