Memoricol

Terms of service

Effective 23 July 2026. If we change anything important, we’ll email customers with active orders.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your purchase of a Memoricol personalised colouring book. By placing an order, you’re agreeing to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t place the order.

Memoricol (ABN 69 907 237 659) (“we”, “us” or “Memoricol”) is a GST-registered business in New South Wales, Australia, trading at memoricol.com.au. You can reach us at hello@memoricol.com.au.

2. Who can order

You need to be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under Australian law. If you’re ordering as a gift on behalf of a younger person, that’s fine: the order is in your name.

3. How an order works

There are two ways to order:

  1. Create now: you upload your photos and personalise the cover, then pay via Stripe (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay).
  2. Buy now, add photos later: you choose your book and pay first, then we email you a private link to upload your photos and finish personalising. You have 30 days to do this (see clause 7).

Once we have both your payment and your photos, we prepare your book and, for a printed order, send it to our Australian print partner to print and post. For a digital order, we email you the print-ready PDF. If we spot a problem with your order before it is made, we will contact you.

4. Prices, GST and payment

All prices on the site are in Australian dollars and include 10% GST, so the price at checkout is the price you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order you have already placed.

Payment is taken in full at the time of order. We don’t store your card details; Stripe handles that. Your order confirmation shows the GST-inclusive total; if you need a full tax invoice, email hello@memoricol.com.au with your order reference and we’ll send one within 28 days.

5. Your photos and intellectual property

You keep full copyright in every photo you upload. By uploading photos to Memoricol, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to do only the following with those photos:

  • Generate the line-art colouring pages for your book.
  • Assemble the print-ready PDF.
  • Send that PDF to our print partner for printing.

That licence ends automatically the moment your book ships, at which point we delete the photos in line with our privacy policy. We do not use your photos for marketing, training AI models, or any other purpose. Ever.

By uploading a photo, you confirm that:

  • You own the copyright in it, or you have the photographer’s permission to use it for this purpose.
  • The people in the photo (or their parents/guardians, if they’re children) have agreed to the photo being used to make this book.
  • The photo doesn’t infringe any third party’s rights and doesn’t contain anything illegal, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit.

If we believe a photo breaches the above, we may refuse to print it and refund your order.

6. What we can’t print

We won’t print photos that contain:

  • Anything sexual or nude.
  • Anything depicting violence, abuse, or harm to a child.
  • Anything illegal under Australian law.
  • Anything that looks copied from a copyrighted source without rights (e.g. movie stills, paid stock photography you don’t have a licence for).

If your order contains material like this, we’ll email you, explain why, and refund you in full.

7. Cancellation, and the 30-day photo window

You can cancel for a full refund any time before your book is sent to print (for a printed order) or before the PDF is generated (for a digital order). Email hello@memoricol.com.au with your order reference. Once a printed book is at the printer we can’t cancel it, but if something is wrong with it our refund policy covers you.

Buy now, add photos later: if you pay first, you have 30 days from your payment to upload your photos using the private link we email you. We remind you before the deadline. At any time up to that deadline you can ask us for a full refund. If the 30-day window closes without your photos and without a refund request, the order is treated as forfeited and is no longer refundable, because we hold your book slot and pricing open for you during that time. If you are having any trouble uploading, email us before the deadline and we will help.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms removes any guarantee, warranty or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded: you’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You’re also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to a Memoricol order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost time, lost opportunity, hurt feelings about a poorly-coloured page, etc.).

This limitation does not apply to liability that can’t be limited under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Disputes

If something goes wrong, please email us first. We genuinely try to fix things quickly. If we can’t reach an agreement, any formal dispute will be handled under the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published at the time you placed it.

Questions about this policy? Email hello@memoricol.com.au and we usually reply within one working day.
